Since 1983, Silicon Designs has served as global industry experts in the design, development, and manufacture of commercial and inertial-grade MEMS capacitive accelerometer modules and chips with integral amplification. Our accelerometers feature highly rugged designs for zero-to-medium frequency instrumentation requirements, with full-scale sensitivities from ±2 g to ±1000 g. Within standard ranges (±2 g to ±400 g), most Silicon Designs MEMS capacitive accelerometers continue to perform within published specifications after exposures to 5000 g and in limited temperature exposures to +175°C.

As the OEM of our own MEMS capacitive accelerometers and chips, Silicon Designs is able to provide exclusive benefits to our customers which are otherwise absent from the industry. All products are 100% built in-house at our state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters and R&D center, located just outside of Seattle, Washington, resulting in superb quality and the industry's fastest lead times, plus added capabilities for qualification, custom specifications, and private-label solutions.
