MEMS Capacitive Accelerometer Accessories

These accessories are the perfect complement to your Silicon Designs MEMS capacitive accelerometers, by adding great value for very little cost. 

Models EBL-Analog and EBJ-Analog

  • Easily test Silicon Designs surface mount MEMS capacitive accelerometer chips
    during design concept phase, or prior to installation

  • Chips are removable and remain undamaged during test, if proper procedures are followed

  • Ships fully assembled for immediate implementation

  • Compatible with all Silicon Designs Models 1510, 1521, 1525, and 1531, all G-Levels

  • Ideal for use with Silicon Designs Models 3330 and 3340 G-Logger Data Acquisition Systems

The Models EB-L Analog and EB-J Analog Test Set accessories provide a convenient means of testing and evaluating Silicon Designs Models 1510, 1521, 1525, and 1531 MEMS capacitive accelerometer chips, whether in LCC or JLCC package format. The zero-insertion-force socket is pre-fitted to the board, which includes set jumpers for advanced accelerometer features. A 10-pin connector and ribbon cable provide connection to an end-user's own test equipment. The EB-L Set, EB-J Set, and Silicon Designs surface mount MEMS capacitive accelerometers are each sold separately.

 

The Model EBJ-Analog Test Set is designed to work with the Models 3330 and 3340 G-Logger data acquisition systems when the system is properly set for chip mode. This powerful-yet-simple combination provides an exceptionally easy and intuitive chip test method, with assured compatibility of all test system components.

Model 2230

  • Mix and match up to three (3) Silicon Designs single axis MEMS capacitive accelerometer modules in similar or different g-levels

  • Rugged, black anodized, precision-machined 6061-T6 aluminum construction

  • Block mass = 79 grams

  • Included hex socket head cap screw fasteners:

    • One (1) 1/4-20x1.5" UNC (9.5 grams, 6 lb-ft)

    • One (1) M6x1x35mm (9.0 grams, 5 lb-ft)

    • Six (6) #4-40x1/2" (0.7 grams each, 4.9 in-lbs)

 

The 1.25" cube-shaped Model 2230 Triaxial Accelerometer Mounting Block provides a lower-cost alternative for the configuration of a custom orthogonal two- or three-axis accelerometer. 

Model 2232

  • Adaptor to magnetically mount of any Silicon Designs MEMS capacitive accelerometer module

  • Rugged blue anodized aluminum construction

  • Block mass = 23 grams

  • Fasteners Included:

    • One (1) M3 Metric Screw

    • One (1) M4 Metric Screw

 

The 0.385" thick Model 2232 Magnetic Mounting Block attaches any Silicon Designs MEMS capacitive accelerometer module onto a flat, ferrous metal surface. The mount has been evaluated for up to +/50G, is rated with 10 lbs / 4.6 KG pull force, and performance is dependent on the quality of the mounting surface.

The 0.25" thick Model 2235 Stud Mount Adaptor Block converts any Silicon Designs MEMS capacitive accelerometer module into a stud-mounted, single screw attachment to your test fixture.
