ADVANCED ACCELEROMETER SOLUTIONS

SDI EB-L & EB-J ANALOG SURFACE MOUNT ACCELEROMETER TEST SETS

Quickly test SDI’s analog surface mount accelerometers with zero-insertion-force sockets.

Meet the EB-L & EB-J Test Sets: Simplified Evaluation for SDI Surface Mount Accelerometers

The EB-L and EB-J Analog Test Sets provide a fast, effective way to evaluate SDI analog surface mount accelerometers (Models 1521, 1522, 1525, 1527 and 1531) without permanent installation. Available in LCC and JLCC socket configurations, these fully assembled boards include pre-installed jumpers and ZIF sockets for quick setup and damage-free chip removal.

Paired with an SDI 3340 G-Logger, these test sets make it easy to validate sensor functionality, confirm calibration, or run performance tests during concept design and system development.

Key Performance Features

  • Easily test SDI’s analog surface mount accelerometers during concept design or prior to installation
  • Chips can be removed and remain unharmed
  • Fully assembled for immediate implementation
  • Compatible with SDI Models 1521, 1522, 1525, 1527 and 1531
  • Use with the SDI Model 3340 G-Loggers for quick calibration
  • Configurations available for SDI’s JLCC or LCC chip packages
  • Contents include:
    • One test board with L or J package zero-insertion force test socket and compatible jumpers installed
    • One Ribbon cable with 10-pin connector

Fast Setup, Safe Handling, and Repeatable Results

Designed to remove complexity and risk from surface mount accelerometer testing.

Quick, Tool-Free Sensor Evaluation

Zero-insertion-force sockets allow for chip insertion and removal without mechanical stress, ideal for repetitive test cycles or engineering validation.

Fully Assembled and Ready to Use

Each kit includes a pre-wired board with jumpers installed, a ribbon cable with a 10-pin connector, and full compatibility with SDI G-Loggers. No custom harnesses or setup required.

Safe, Flexible Sensor Handling

Supports multiple SDI sensor models and both JLCC and LCC package types. The test sets reduce ESD risk and prevent solder-related damage, preserving sensor lifespan during early evaluation stages.
